Landeskog, who had a temperature above 100 Monday morning, scored 1:52 into OT before a crowd of 15,045. The 19-year-old rookie phenom came down with the flu Sunday and didn’t participate in the morning skate. He was a game-time decision, and ultimately it was a good choice.
"I hung in there, had an IV in me (before the game). I was fighting it, struggling most of the game. … For me to be able to get that last shot was huge, giving us (an extra) point. Every point is big right now."
